[minor rant]
New to Accor Plus, but have suffered for a long time under the LeClub Accor web site
Couldn't log onto the Accor Plus web site; after entering the e-mail address and password, with 2 green ticks, those boxes and words simply disappeared and nothing happened. I cleared the cache, did all the usual self-help things - same result over a couple of days.
Called the members line and got a pleasant, dare I say Australian sounding lady who asked me to send info on the problem, and my system etc to [email protected] , which I did with screen shots of the issue, my IE version (full details), my OS etc etc. I know there are certain web site which struggle with IE but they are usually fixable by doing certain things.
In the meantime, I logged on using Chrome, which I have on my laptop but don't like or use much.
Today, a few days later, I got a call from again, dare I day a call-centre sounding person who asked me to use Chrome. OK, says I, but what about the IE issue? "Just use Chrome, please." was the reply.
"Is anyone going to get back to me so I can use IE? Are you in IT?"
"No, I'm in general things"
"Can you sent my e-mail to some IT people so they can address the issues? IE is the world's most popular browser - I can't imagine that accorplus.com simply doesn't work on it."
"I will forward it to my supervisor."
"Is your supervisor in the IT group?"
"No, but he will know what to do."
As I'm obviously not going to get anything sensible out of Accor, has anyone else had this log-on problem with accorplus.com and/or can suggest a fix (other than 'just use another browser'
) ?
