Accor Plat/Diamond benefits in Paris

Does anyone have a good recommendation for an Accor hotel in Paris with regards to good service for plats/diamond or just general good everything? I doubt I will be renewing as a diamond again seeing how limited the benefits are above plat, so I just want to maximise it while I have it this year.

I have stayed at Mercure Eiffel and Pullman Eiffel as a plat. Neither had lounge facility and neither made any real fuss with regards to the status - Pullman made me join the loung queue for check-in and gave me the evil eye when I asked if there is a priority queue for plats... That really left a bad taste. I don't ask for much but if they advertise priority check-in for high levels, then it is clearly the most useful when the queue is long. And yet the evil eye.

A cursory search on the ALL website suggests basically no hotel in Europe has a plat/diamond lounge, it would seem.... but I know not all lounges are listed on the ALL website.

So then I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at anything Accor in Paris, or Bordeaux or Naples that's worth mentioning in terms of good service and/or good facilities? Anyone stayed at SO Paris? Or one of the Sofitels?

Personally I am a huge fan of Sofitel Darling Harbour for plats and use it as a benchmark. But I think that might be setting the bar too high for European Accor hotels........ the whole status thing seems to be a very Asian thing... Asian airlines, Asian hotels, etc...

I don't think an ALL Platinum gets much in the way of benefits in Paris.

Certainly no free breakfast.

I might get free breakfast on weekends as a Diamond but my partner and I have decided we will just hit the streets instead. Every Accor breakfast looks and tastes the same, everywhere, is how we feel. It's easy enough to find good boulangeries in Paris anyway.

That lounge list on the ALL website isn't complete. That's why I wanted to ask if anyone knows something first hand.

It feels like, despite being headquartered in Paris, Accor doesn't treat its elite members particularly well in Europe. The whole "service for elite members" just isn't part of the European culture, perhaps.

Only Sofitel we have stayed at in Paris was the Arc de Triomphe which was ok without being outstanding. We have stayed at the SO and preferred that mainly because abuse of the fantastic views. We have stayed at the Pullman Eiffel and Pullman Montparnasse aswell as both the Pullman and Novotel at CDG and I must say that none of them blew me away apart from from some generous room upgrades I’ve found treatment of status guests as meh to ok.
Disappointing that in France the supposed home of Accor the options are not great IMO and Europe generally is quite underwhelming and EL’s are few and far between and nothing like we have here or in Asia or the ME
