Accor Australia Promotions

I received the offer, but it is pointless for many reasons.
(1) I have Diamond status.
(2) I have exceeded the Platinum re-qualification criteria (both nights and spend).
(3) I have been credited with 30 or more nights from subscriptions.
These offers are not targetted.

Like others I'm sure, I got an email about the 'Elevate faster. Stay better.' promotion today.

I tried to register as a Gold status holder, but it said I was ineligible.

Anyone else get the same? Wondering why I would not be eligible?

Thanks for posting this update. Been trying ALL DAY and getting the same error!

Just tried again now, and was able to finally register for the promo....

Sheeez, Accor get your tech sorted out!!!

I don't even get an offer through my email. Going to Accor website didn't lead me to the offer activation page/link...........

My Accor membership is not Australian though. Maybe that's the difference.

Still not working for me. It forces the app to open on my phone.

But I’ll try again later.
So I followed the LL link above which at least got me to the “Register” page but rejected me because I’m already registered for “Fastrack” - I assume that’s the QF auto FT…?

Obviously, it didn’t work for me and isn’t necessary, but I did apply it to my mothers account.

She’s only just signed up to Accor the other day to allow double dips when she flies Qantas or has to stay overnight at airport hotels. She’s classic right now but should get to Silver after her first stay as she’s WP. I wonder which will credit first and whether she’ll get 5 extra nights or 7?

It seems this promotion is only valid for base, silver and gold statused members.

One other thing is the 10 bonus nights - for those who have already received bonus nights this year, that may come up against the maximum annual credit of 30 bonus nights.

You are right ... but it would be incredibly bad form for Accor to not make that clear anywhere in the promotion or in the T&Cs -- in fact it would be a textbook example of how to anger your most loyal customers.

It would also be dead simple for Accor to simply not send the promotional email to Accor+ Explorer members -- but I'm an Explorer member and I received the email.

Stupider things have happened, but Accor should expect an angry backlash if the bonus nights don't post to Explorer members.

Related but slightly different comment from me. I have Explorer and got credited with my 30 nights in June this year. I also have Signature, and got credited with 5 bonus nights in each of April, May and June this year. I have also stayed 12 nights so far this year. All of these nights - 30+5+5+5 (bonus) +12 (stays)- are currently showing in my status progress. Plus I have a further 33 nights booked for UAE/Europe before 31 December. Conswquently, I'm not at all concerned about if/how the nights stack as I will comfortably make Platinum either by nights or by status points before 31 Dec considering my forward bookings, and in fact I will even make Diamond for the first time.

However, due to an unexpected short notice trip next month, I will now add 4 nights to my stay total before my first UAE booking, which at 14 nights Grand Mercure, was enough to tick me over to retain Platinum on either status points or nights.

My extra 4 nights are at an Ibis, and are also before the next slice of Signature points is due, so I will not make Platinum on status points from this stay. But according to my nights total, I will be at 61 nights after the Ibis extravaganza in far west NSW and should therefore make Platinum on nights.

This gives me the chance to be a data point and see if they pull the switcheroo about multiple stacking nights and the 30 night limit mentioned by @serfty (and the Ts&Cs of the program). But as @Human said, this is not at all clear from my dashboard, which clearly indicates that I am at 57 nights and nearly there for platinum. I would be pretty annoyed to get to 60+ nights and find they then removed the "excess" 15 nights, after showing them in my account for the 6 months since April, and indicating that they were contributing towards my status. I should be able to report back by the end of Otober after the nights credit as to whether they congratulate me on retaining, or the milestone passes and I don't get a retain message.
