Accor and WhatsApp

Appreciate there are other options than donating them, however I think any points I have in other programs are better used in those programs rather than Accor.

I’d rather transfer my amex points to an airline program for example given I rarely use Accor hotels (I like Hilton better with free brekkie!)

i just logged in to my account and there is a banner for 100 points by subscribing to whatsapp, maybe check if you have the same offer.

I have enough sponsored emails and texts every day. Last thing I need is sponsored spam on WhatsApp. I've managed to keep WhatsApp clear of rubbish up to now but I'm sure Meta has other ideas.

WhatsApp is used heavily in many Accor properties I’ve stayed at so I guess it makes sense for them to try to get as many of their members using it as possible

I love it when an upcoming stay sends a WhatsApp to me - makes various requests easier to make than via e-mail, and they always respond personally.

It’s an expensive 100 points IMO.

I signed up last time this was offered and the spam wad relentless.

I never get any Spam on my WhatsApp and I engage with Accor, but I didn’t sign up for that deal.

Yep’ likewise.
Have used WhatsApp a fair bit with Accor and don’t get spam but never signed up to anything

By signing up to the offer, you are agreeing to receive promotional whatsapp messages. I've received maybe half a dozen since I signed up late last year,
