Accor ALL Signature Discussion

Points expire with 12 months of no activity, but if you the subscription you get monthly points so you points wouldn't expire because you have monthly activity.

Now with Amex as a transfer partner you can just do a minimum transfer to get 12 months of activity
It's a bit stricter on what counts as activity though. General redemptions don't

The validity period of a Member's Reward points is extended by 365 consecutive days when a transaction results in Reward Points being credited to the member's ALL account, or when a donation of Reward Points to organisations or foundations chosen within the framework of the Programme is carried out on all.dift.com

All Signature credits every month and that resets the 12 month clock.

comes with the same 12K status points per annum
I thought I saw that it comes with 5 status nights/month now too? I’ve not had nights credit before and I know this doesn’t count to Diamond, but wonder if this is new or my eyes deceived me?

I recall you can’t get more than 30 free nights a year across Accor+ subscriptions but 5 by 12 is 60 nights per year?

Status nights is a new addition.

These will stop being credited once you reach the cap. Ie. once you’ve had 30 “free” credit from any source in a CY.

Limit is still 30, no one gets 60 so it’s deceptive

Combined with the monthly payment option it isn't quite as deceptive.
You could pay for 6 months each calendar year to earn the 30 nights, 6,000 status points and 30,000 reward points and then quit for the other 6 months.

The deceptive part is the 60 nights a year you might think your getting from the table, no outright mention of the cap if your new

Came across this and wondering if anyone has the same; I’m on the old BRL560 monthly, so the increase will still just about be worth it for me.

A while ago they seemed to change their payment processor though, it no longer codes as travel spend (no biggie, but I’d been paying with Amex Green for 3x points on that) - however, when I go to switch I can’t seem to add an Amex card now. No issues with the payments still (in fact they took one yesterday), but have they stopped taking Amex by stealth, or is it a problem my end?

Trivial issue, I’m more curious than anything.

Did anyone else get a 'Correction' e-mail, following up the one advising a subscription increase?

I subscribed Absolute first last November, plan price R$7788 (649 monthly) - on sale R$5481 (456 monthly, I paid annually)

Original e-mail, in part:

'Correction' (??)

So I'm guessing I'm now up for R$760/month? And falling into the category of what @dairyfloss mentioned up-thread that I'm paying net 40 euros for the Status points?

Advice, please: I will be Diamond as of next week, so through to Nov '27. Therefore, if I don't have ambitions to Diamond for 2028, I should let this drop? Or depends on Black Friday sale?

Yes - if you don’t need the status points, then let it go, as that’s all you’re getting once it goes up to the new rate.

Once you hit Diamond, then without another dollar spent or night stayed, you’ll hold Diamond through Dec 31 2027, and then soft land to Platinum for all of 2028. Sign up again in 2028 for the number of months you need to top-up status points to Plat or Diamond.

Cheers,
Matt.

So every month you get 5,000 points and every 4 months you get a bonus 5,000 points.

In effect, that’s 6,250 points per month for R$760 = AUD$213.

6,250 points is worth €125 = AUD$205.

So as of today, you can still be getting 1,000 status points per month for free so long as you hold in 4 month batches. Is that correct or am I missing something?

That's true. The spreadsheet nerd in me wants to point out the lost status earn when you burn those points rather than spending the cash but it doesn't change the fact that you will still be well on your way to Platinum every year under the updated subscription model. You are effectively paying for the status and not so much the points.

For sure, burning points means opportunity cost in earned ALL and QF points.

So usually 1,000 status points would be minimum €400 spend and even more if staying at the lower tier properties, wouldn’t it?

I think even if its not a clear cashflow positive program it used to be, it still makes Platinum
and Diamond much easier than real spending - especially if you use Mantra, Peppers and Ibis for some of your stays.

Thanks. This year I'll earn 35,000 status points, so 23K without Signature, and its been an exceptional year. So I plan to let it go - but if my travel in '27 sees me earning quite strongly, I could buy in for, say 4 months if I wanted to reach Diamond again?
