Accor ALL Signature Discussion

You can get 12,000 status points per year with Signature meaning you only would require an extra 14,000 status points via spend to attain Diamond.
Yes thanks I signed up on that basis. You basically leapfrog Gold to almost instant Platinum and then get Diamond for a Platinum spend.

30 nights is halfway to Platinum, hardly instant
I'm not referring to the nights, I'm referring to the Status Points.
12,000 is 86% of the way to the 14,000 points required for Platinum. I think that qualifies as "almost instant".
Instant?

Don't you get the points in monthly increments?
I acknowledge that the points are credited to your account in monthly installments, not instantly, but you can "instantly" factor them into your plans to gain or retain status.

Absolutely. Knowing the benefits of both Signature and Explorer, I've been able to look ahead and with a spreadsheet, see that I will get Plat by June and diamond by September this year, both via Status Points.

I'm leveraging Signature to retain Platinum with ALL - don't need to get to Diamond. I find I usually only need to subscribe to Signature for 6 months to get there - the good thing is that ALL tells you how many status points you'll get ahead of time - I just need to make sure I have a buffer of points just in case the ALL prediction falls short.
