Accor ALL Signature Discussion

I decided not to use the instalment option btw and paid the full annual subscription - mainly because I’ve read reports of card payments failing so decided to play it safe. Subscribed successfully with B’west Mastercard.

But would still be good to know if people were able to use the instalments.
I have been paying the monthly installment on a NZ Kiwibank Platinum card no problems for 18 months at least. I recently changed it to a NZ Amex Platinum airpoints card 2 months ago , also no problems. I like monthly payments as its only $170-190NZD a month which I do not even notice. I am also grandfathered on the old annual price before it went up. I cannot be bothered trying each year to get the best annual deal

Where are you getting the idea from that you can pay an annual plan in instalments? There is certainly no option to do so during the sign up process.
The terms and conditions of the program spell out five payment options
3.5.3. Subscription payment is made by credit card and renewal occurs automatically unless the subscriber requests cancellation of the ALL Signature. The available frequency options are:
(i) Recurring monthly : in this mode, the credit card will be charged monthly for the respective monthly fee and plan chosen by the subscriber;
(ii) Quarterly upfront : in this option, the credit card will be debited every three months for the respective quarterly amount and plan chosen by the subscriber;
(iii) Quarterly installments : in this option, the total subscription amount will be debited in monthly installments, over up to 3 months — corresponding to the duration of the quarterly plan —, according to the number of installments and the plan chosen by the subscriber.
(iv) Annual upfront : in this option, the credit card will be charged annually for the respective annual fee and plan chosen by the subscriber.
(v) Annual installment plan : in this option, the total subscription amount will be debited in monthly installments, over up to 12 months — corresponding to the duration of the annual plan —, according to the number of installments and the plan chosen by the subscriber.
