While we're on it, what are people's experiences with AA?
Food, glorious food... well on flights over 2hours (at meal times) and all flights over 2.5hours during the daytime (i.e. "snack/brunch"++) here's some from my library, may not be recent ... And so much better than Qantas does domestic Business... on par with Virgin Coast to Coast -

Pasta

Made to order Sundaes (whipped cream & nuts omitted from mine, but they were rather anxious to overfill it weren't they?) -longer flights

Transcon sandwich - entree (mains)

13aatransconsaladwchicken.jpg

Transcon chicken salad - appertizer (entree)

Chicken rather than the beef

Oh yes, and everything starts with this (except selected transcon, where there is a cheese option)

Warmed nuts, with Scotch 'n' coke (not pepsi) - on a "refreshment" flight, this is ALL you will get, with refills.

American is quite excellent at serving a domestic side salad, aren't they?!!! (Something Virgin does well in Australia, but LCC-managed Qantas refuses to.)

So in the past when I've made booking with other OW partners - like BA - the booking shows up in "my bookings" on Qantas web in QFF. My AA bookings are not. Is this normal?

I'm another fan of AAs domestic meal service in F.These are some of our meals/snacks for 2011-

Yes - AA use SABRE as thier GDS, QF/BA use Amadeus - unless there's both AA and QF/BA/LAetc. flights on the booking you will see as you indicated.
