ACCC recommences domestic airline reporting role for 3 more years

The ACCC has resumed providing quarterly reports on the state of the domestic aviation industry, with the first one released today:

Domestic airfares were generally lower in 2023 but reliability remains poor

Domestic airfares generally fell last year after reaching record highs in late-2022, but cancellations and delays remain higher than long-term industry averages, the ACCC’s latest Domestic Airline Competition in Australia report reveals.

They will now continue doing this until December 2026.
