AC award inventory

Wondering what the brains trust knows about how actively AC manage their award inventory for partners.

I'm looking to fly YKA to YVR the week before Christmas. Cash fares are extortionate.

Earlier this week there were no awards, but today there are awards available on the last flight of the day at 1900hrs via Velocity.

Ideally I'd like the 1035 or 1435 departure.

I'm wondering whether I should wait and see if more awards drop given there's 9's across the board, or just snap the 1900 departure to avoid the 4.5h bus ride?

As an additional data point, the following day also had no award a week ago, but now has them on all but the 1035 departure and it also shows 9's for all flights in all buckets, except the 1035.
