American Airlines from 11JUN14 is launching Dallas – Hong Kong service, offering daily flights on board Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Reservation for this new route opened during the weekend of 15DEC13 schedule update.

AA137 DFW1245 – 1805+1HKG 77W D
AA138 HKG1330 – 1630DFW 77W D

AA138 begins from 13JUN14

CX J seating with uglier FAs. Wonder what pricing will be like?

Also, what is AA international F like?

I have flown AA international F many times. I have found the service standard to be acceptable. Do not compare or expect Asian level F service and you will find it very agreeable. Food it lovely (slightly better ex NRT). I have found if you are extremely polite (but shouldn't you always be???) they favour you.

What's the duration of the flight?

Timing of the flights looks pretty decent.

I like AA F.We have always had good service especially if it is a DFW crew. Those ex-ORD are not as friendly but still not bad.
No problems with food either.
I certainly like it more than our F experiences on QF 747s.Did book the A380 once but a couple of days out they subbed it for a 747 going on to the Mojave desert.
Will get to compare it with BA F next year.
As it is a 773 it will be new F and J which should be really good.

I flew LAX-MIA earlier in the week 777 F and it was pretty fabulous actually. Great seat (only complaint was Rockwell Collins IFE with small screen), good food and fantastic A1 service. The seat goes fully flat, has an ottoman and can even dine with someone if you like that type of thing.

aa.com still shuttling you through NRT with AA(JL) connectors for "some" asian starting points.
