Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?
Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.
Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
I have seen reference recently that these days, even if AA flight do arrive at T4, Immigration/customs is still done at TBIT.Except the AA flight will not be arriving at TBIT.
AA are now selling tickets for AA72/73 SYD-LAX. The first thing I noticed on their website was the massive price disparity between their own flight and the QF metal flights! Hopefully that's just a bug.

Picking a date though that the QF service is probably already well booked in advance at peak time of Christmas. Any newly launched service is naturally going to be emptier at Xmas (and therefore fares cheaper) given that the existing service has already been selling seats for almost 7 months. A more relevant comparison would be for departures around the latest possible date of booking.
