I was just playing around with expertflyer and noticed that virtually all flights SYD-HNL on QF (or the AA codeshare) are L0 till at least May. The low frequency might have something to do with it.
The low availability of HNL flights in L is bad news for me as I intend to go to HNL in Sept next year on an LLGLOB26 (worked out cheaper than my original plan - the LCIR22, go figure...).
Given that the AA ATW desk won't hold bookings for more than 21 days, and I have another DONE4 to pay for by May next year - I won't be able to afford the GLOB26 fare and so won't be able to book flights till much closer to departure time.
I was wondering if availability in L on QF (preferably the AA code) would be hard to get in September? How far in advanced should I be aiming to book at the very least?
I know Sept 08 is quite far away but I need to commit to the trip in terms of saving etc.
