AA finally releasing seats

Lookslike AA is releasing seats USA/OZ route as none of the lower cost J/F were availble.

Just had a look for end Jan US to AU and its all gone again. I have a few family booked on long cuts with CX and would love to switch them to direct flights, ah well a trip to HKG it is then

Managed you use an expiring SWU to confirm an upgrade to J in February.

There early am looks like gone now, maybe release some end on Jan?.

I seems a 'closer cooperation trains-Pacific' wasn't the only thing QF shared with AA. The lack of award availability was quite disappointing.

Last night there were quite a few days with 2 J sAAver awards on the AA flight either way.Until end August reasonable availability of Y sAAver awards.But Sept-Nov-No sAAver awards at all.
What was surprising was no QF awards showing when I could see classic awards on the QF site.I certainly could always see some QF awards when searching aa.com previously,well Y anyway.

Interesting ... I have found that if expertflyer is showing P/U/X buckets on QF flights and it is within 331 days then they normally show on AA.com.

(I still reckon AA.com is showng Z on QF as First sAAver ... thereby confounding many with phantom First.)

The problem for some of us is that they are only releasing sAAver awards it seems a maximum of 6 weeks out.Only 1 day in Feb with J sAAver availability-13/2.
And only 1 day with F sAAver availability in that time frame.

PF - seems to now be 4+ J LAX-SYD on AA73, 26 Jan, if that suits....

Very interesting... I've noticed that AA seems to just release a bulk of seats 14 days from today. Is this the trend that people see?

Basically right but I am seeing some out to 6 weeks prior but none after 6 weeks.
