Has anyone taken photos of the cabin in a AA ER3/ERD aircraft? Could you please post them if you have.

Are there any overhead lockers?

Are the seat standard economy seats - where you can place hand luggage under the seat infront?

thanks

The overhead lockers look quite sizeable in the ER135.

Do you think a 8x13x19 inch roller bag fit?

Is there any storage under the seat available?

I've written a review on an LAX-LAS flight which was operated by an ERJ:

Though cabin is teeny, seats are pretty standard economy sized - not sure if they give preferential seating to WPs but try to get row 11 if you can. That's the emergency exit and has heaps of legroom.

Not sure about ur rollerboard but we had no probs fitting all our shopping laden bags into one of the lockers.

On the AA wbsite you can pre-select the exit rows for American Eagle flights. I did this in the last week for a flight and was amazed that the exit rows were still available as almost all of the other seat were allocated. All I had to do was answer a couple of questions - two arms, two legs, two heads etc. My suspicion is that those who live in the LOTFAP won't accept the "responsibility" of the exit row in case someone sues them in the event of an incident??

Are the ER3/ERD overhead lockers similar in size to the QF Dash 8?

QF have a size limit of 41 inches for carryon when using a Dash 8.

FWIW, There are NO overhead Lockers on the LHS of the aircaft. The lockers over the RHS seats are larger than those for DH8's.

The configuration for the seating is 1 x 2.

My 105cm rollaboard is not allowed on; it gets gate checked for collection at the destination. (along with the carry-ons of most other passengers).

Is gate checking safe? ie since no baggage tags are issued.

Is it more or less convenient? Do you have to wait at the arrival gate until they bring out the bag?

You are supplied with red tags which you write on yourself.

There appear to be two types, one has a tear-off stub which you keep, the other doesn't have such but more places to write your details.

Here is the Text of the latter type:

I seem to remember travelling on ER 135 American Eagle from CHS-DFW and LAS-LAX that pax who had rollers of that description, although they wouldn't fit in the lockers, the FA tagged them and they went in the back and were available for collection on the tarmac on arrival
