Interesting fare. However that link takes you to the Zuji.com.au home page and I cannot locate information on that fare easily ...

Oh, I see, simply select MEL/SYD/BNE-JFK in for Feb//Mar and up it pops.

Hmm.. Q-Class... lees chance for "Candy Thiefs" on this one.

*Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Cheap International Airfares Forum.

This fare/routing pops up regularly. As serfty notes, the QF component is non earning on AAdvantage and hence not suited to undertaking the Platinum Challenge. But the price is good.

It generally requires an overnight stop in NRT to make the connection to JFK.

Doesn't seem to be available from the AA website.

Would be good, but alas looks like bestflights or Zuji are your choices.

I booked one through Zuji and it worked out around $1300 AUD. Bet they've included Qantas Fuel Fines! At least I had a Zuji $50 off voucher stashed away that I could use.

The availability coming back was very patchy. Getting there was no real issue.

Don't think you'll find it cheaper anywhere else. I've already checked most of the Australian online booking engines.

I got a simiallir AA deal via NRT on code share with QF last year only it was to SJC.

Price back then was $876 + $360 tax

I booked it via Flight Centre instead of Zuji, reason being was that Zuji site was not showing seats avaliable on days I wanted but Flight centre were.

So I rekcon if you cant find seats via Zuji then go to an agent, plus also you cant book the stopover dates in NRT when booking via Zuji site and need to call them instead, so again an agent was easier to use.
