Hi All

Soon to book LAX to HNL as an award on the QFF site. Flight comes up as AA267. I would like to upgrade to the 'Extra' cabin but can't do this on the QFF site. Is it possible and if so how can I do it ?

Thanks in advance.

You might be able to do so on AA.com (not the Australian site, the US site). You would need to have the SABRE reference for your booking.

If you have QFF status (Gold, Platinum) you may be able to change the FF number to your QFF number and then may be able to select seats in that section of the cabin. Its not an upgrade, but more the ability to select the more desirable seats.

+1 I did this earlier in the year - you need to find the AA PNR and then login to AA.com and then you can choose extra legroom seating for free

I had no problems securing first row of whY on an AA 757 flight in the exit row seats 9D&E on an award ticket LAX/OGG booked on the QF website.

Both of us are OWE so we just went to the www.aa.com site, entered the AA pnr and our OWE frequent flyer numbers & hey presto. You'll also get complimentary food in whY for OWE also.
