Hi All

Hoping someone can help me with a check on availability for 3 x Business class return from Brisbane to LAX in Aug/Sep 2016. Happy to try alternate routings if available.... just getting no luck with online searching and phone reservations for the dates i've tried so far.... really limited seats on this route! i am flexible on the dates as this is a family holiday and the little one isnt in school yet.

thanks in advance..... have enough AA miles for the booking (375k +), just need to use them for something!

Typically QF releases 2J seats on the BNE flight. Since with AA miles you can only book 330 days in advance these 2 seats may already be gone when you can start booking.
An alternative could be to book 2J and 1F seat on the SYD or MEL route. A subscription to EF might be useful.

Looking for same 2 x J August, BNE/USA port no luck at all, typical of QF, might have to do HNL instead then to mainland or go circle pacific via HKG. Can get DFW/SYD/BNE for return.

thanks for the tips all..... trying some other routings as well.

AA are only releasing the occasional J Aaward on their metal for longhaul flights.QF awards are usually snapped up before AA opens its award selections so the chance of getting 3 J awards to the USA at the sAAver rate are very poor.
Unfortunately routing via Asia means 2 awards.

Yes is 2 awards, thinking might do QF a Y to HKG as we could stand its a daylight flight (have many ex Pat Aussie friends there too) then awards to USA and back to OZ via USA/BNE or SYD.i
