Hi All,
We recently experienced some vast differences in Emirates J standards between a short haul a380 (5 hours) and a longer haul (9 hours) 773 and wonder if this is normal.
On the a380 it was a 9pm flight. Mattress's were offered even though sleep would have been somewhat limited due to the shortness of the flight, amenity bags distributed, and a wide variety of snacks were available at the bar, once the meal service was over.
on the connecting 773 out of DXB departure was 8:50am. Mattress's were not offered even though there were many connecting passengers who had come from short haul flights and wanted some sleep on the longer haul. No amenity bags were distributed, and the mid flight snacks at the bar consisted of fruit and potato crisps.
Is such a variance normal?
