Re: BKK-SYD and arrival back home

Love these TRs :). Your return journey reminds me of the Thai I have flown with in the past 18 months - it was in J, but we were in the F cabin (747) and service was pretty good.

Which Senator at FRA were you using? I spent quite a lot of time earlier this year at the Senator which services non Schengen gates Z50-69 and it was pretty good! Large, uncrowded and with lockable bag storage opposite the lounge agent desk.

Could have even been the F lounge near that location; can't remember if my Air Canada status would have gotten me entry into that or not.

Would guess it was the same one as it also was in the non-Schengen area, pretty close to the departure gate for my TG flight. Didn't find it too pleasant though so maybe you really were in the first lounge rather which I've been told to be really good. Might also be very different outside of Summer holiday time madness and if you happen to get a different bartender. Those two Thais were both absolute amazing bi&%#es!

Thanks Berlin for the great TR. Can't believe you took wombat all that way, hope he knows how lucky he is, and I see another friend you brought home, gosh how are you going to travel with both those!
