I had a wonderful flight attendant (Jon) on my flight to Perth this week (QF485 Monday J) so I thought I'd start a post for people to talk about other fantastic service they have experienced either in the air or on the ground.

I haven't flown QF to PER for a long time (the guarantee of champagne and a bed on VA has been too large a temptation) but I have to say Jon has reminded me of the quality of service that QF can provide. He was fun, attentive, engaging and enthusiastic.

I have posted my comments on the Qantas Excel Employee Recognition Program Customer Care Feedback Form (not sure if VA has a similar thing).

Moderators... please let me know if there is already a spot for this.

Sometimes we are quick to post the problems and forget to post the great experiences we have... hopefully this will help :)

Flew 2 legs Y on QF domestic today. Both flights had excellent cabin teams who interacted with guests in non-scripted ways. Both legs had breakfast but, for my special meals, different.

Takeoff on runway 19 BNE was aborted because of computer glitch on brakes but a short circle around taxiway got us ready for second uneventful attempt.
