Hi all my name is jordan and I am from sunny Brisbane Qld. I recently came across this forum while researching if the qantas club was worth buying. I recently started a job which includes a bit of travelling domestically. I also have my private pilots licence and love to fly for fun on the weekends.

Welcome; what's the conclusion re QP membership? I think you get a discount via AFF membership. There are other schemes where you can get discounted membership - such as some professional bodies (I think basically its the 'corporate' discount applied).

If you are going to fly in J then QP membership not so important. There are lots of tips here how to accelerate your QFF status so eventually QP membership is free.

Thanks for the welcome folks. At this stage I'll most likely get the club membership as most of my flying is to Gladstone and Mackay once a fortnight and I have seen the delays that happen there.
