My 1976 HJ Kingswood (and my father's 1974 HQ Kingswood) had the foot dip-switch. I found it very convenient and quick/easy to when driving with high-beam and able to keep both hands holding the steering wheel.Apart from Holden I couldn't think of any other aussie car that had them ... came and went around 1970.
