Gen Z flummoxed with these pedals. Where's the high beam floor switch?

A foot peddle “hand brake” was always a bit weird. Some Holdens (aka GM) had those.

The high beam floor switch was yet another oddity consigned to the technology waste bin…

Apart from Holden I couldn't think of any other aussie car that had them ... came and went around 1970.

I was dating Lorraine for some time but we broke up and now I’ve met Claire Lee.

Now, looking around I can see Claire Lee now as Lorraine is gone and it looks like a bright sun-shiny day.
Where is that roll eyes emoji?

Citroens swapped the foot dipswitch for the brake on many of their brilliant models.

My 1976 HJ Kingswood (and my father's 1974 HQ Kingswood) has the foot dip-switch. I found it very convenient and quick/easy to when driving with high-beam and able to keep both hands holding the steering wheel.
