Hi guys

Some opinions would be nice.....

Im flying into FRA from SYD next Euro summer and im looking at connecting flights from there to the Uk. However my options are a little limited, well, unless I want to spend a decent sum flying with LH.

I land at 6am & unless I wait till 11:40 the best flights depart for LHR at 07:25. Now I'm flying into FRA on an award booking so I'm in F and thus hopefully would be through customs pretty quickly would you gamble on the 07:25 flight?

thanks in advance

Rob

I wouldn't do it - you might make it but your bag won't.........and that is important. I would take a couple of hours delay to make sure I get my bag.

You really need to state who you're flying into FRA with then we can establish MCT. Depending on the carrier combination you might be able to get bags tagged through and not need to pass through immigration.

TG from SYD through to FRA but flights into LHR are with BA so guessing that wouldn't be an option?

TG's *A and BA is OW so you're out of luck there.

FRA can get pretty busy and transferring between terminals can take a few minutes. I wouldn't do it. Take the 11:40 flight.

Yeah that's what I was thinking - thanks for your thoughts guys.

On separate booking MCT is supposed to be irrelevant, although they may check your bags through on separate tickets if it is met.

For reference , E/F coughs up the following: Results from ExpertFlyer.com
