Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan

I was looking at this as well - The AS booking engine turns out some fantastic itineraries for 'mileage running' for status, such as SFO-HNL via JFK for 15,000 AS miles in Y. It would be a fun thing to get to - alas for many without US credit cards, the volume makes little sense

Mileage running for status? How does flying using AS miles contribute to status? (you can tell I've been out of this game for a while, can't you? )

Has anyone had success adding an infant to an Alaska redemption on Qantas?

On the Alaska website, it forces me to book a separate adult ticket for an infant. However, I am not sure if I can just call up Qantas after booking to add the infant.

Sounds like it is going to be difficult, at best. You need to call Qantas, but I’d read this thread from FT: Infant Lap Booking - FlyerTalk Forums

A couple of posters on there booked an infant through QF, but for one of them it ended in an error and took three hours at the air0rt to get it ticketed properly.
