So I'm about to close my AMEX and have to transfer 75k points somewhere, so far my top two options are Asia Miles and Velocity (15% bonus).

What do you guys think? Which one is the best value for money for future redemption?

Thanks

Yes in Sydney, also I might consider travel to south america but 75k wont probably get me there...
Have you calculated what 75k would buy you in each program? Immediate thought was Asia Miles wouldn't be that great but the ability to book into QF might make this option ok.

Personally I'm a big fan of KrisFlyer, but it depends how you want to use the points really. Velocity is the natural option if you want to redeem the points for travel to the Pacific as Virgin (a) flies there, and (b) has good award availability on these routes.

If you want to go to South America, consider CX Asia Miles. 72,000 Asia Miles will get you from Sydney to Santiago and back flying premium economy on Qantas.

thanks guys I think I stick with Velocity, can use them on flights to pacific and also domestically if required + 15% bonus on transfer helps too.
