Some background for your amusement....

Traveling in Y from SYD to LAX end of this month. Originally seated upstairs, purchased exit seats 35J/K in reconfigured A380. Seats lost with aircraft change (to an original A380) so requested and given two bulkhead seats, 51J/K.

Bumped from these seats a month later (bassinet required) so asked and given prime bulkhead seats 66D/E. Yesterday noticed the fun not quite over and we are now heading across the Pacific in a 4 class 747!

With great trepidation I made my 3rd call to allocate seating and the lovely Qantas lady (with some great amusement and empathy at my story) happily allocated 40B/C. She even joked that my next aircraft change may indeed be to a prop. :)

My questions:

1. Does row 40 have a cutout into the bulkhead in front?
2. Is the AVOD system the same as the A380?
3. Are there any in-seat power outlets in economy?

Thanks in advance.

James.

1. Don't know.
2. No the non refurbs, ie have the older Rockwell system, A380 and upgrades have Panasonic.
3. No.

I flew QF107 with this same plane last week in 40A. There is indeed a cut-out and the legroom is very good.
