I mentioned earlier I wasn't going to tell the kids. Well, we have one super observant one. Always has been. He has to be into detail for his work I guess. Anyway, he is the one who just arrived safely into the UK and he dropped in with his luggage the other day for us to take him, and even in the midst of that especially now, pre International departure pfaff and carry on, he looked into the corner and asked if that was one of the 747 carts he had read about on the news. He was very impressed. Its probably the only place right now we can store all the wine so other than the biscuits, nuts and Tim tams, it is all still in place.

Instead of Tim Tams I received Savoury Cheddar Biscuits from Charlie’s. I love my chocolate but also my cheese

bigal is mystified as to why they said on the website that the wine has a use by date of early next year. Is it because the wine is in plastic? It’ll very possibly (definitely) be gone by then but we’d be interested if anyone knows the reason.
Yes the wine shelf life in plastic is greatly reduced.

I hadn't realised that the bottles do have a 'best before' date etched into them, I received the Chardonnay with best before of Apr-2021 and Cabernet Merlot of Jun-2021. Not that I've checked a lot of the bottles, but I didn't see any with an earlier BB date :)
cheers

Mine arrived this morning (ADL)! Looks great, super excited. Had to rush off to work, so haven't had the chance to rummage my way through yet!
Late update - I ended up with the Bunkers Honeycombs Chardonnay and Blue Pyrenees Cab Merlot... would have been my last pick....oh well!! Lucky I love the cart!

Oh, and made my boss jealous with my bar cart. :p

He said at the start of a meeting this morning "You scored one of those Qantas carts, didn't you? <His wife> showed me your pictures". :D

His wife and I follow each other on Instagram. He wasn't able to get onto it quickly enough on the day they went on sale, and missed out. He's suggesting we use the cart for a bedside table. It occurs to me I'll need a very high bed for the cart to be a useful bedside table!!!
