50% more status credits - offer valid for bookings made in next 7 days

After a dry spell of 15 months, I got the following offer:

Dear 2tall4Y,

Make your next journey on Qantas even more rewarding with 50% more Status Credits* when you fly on eligible flights with a QF flight number on your ticket.[SUP]^[/SUP] This offer is valid when you register using the link below and make a new booking between 5 August 2015 and 11 August 2015 for travel until 3 December 2015. Don't forget to include your Frequent Flyer membership number in your booking to receive 50% more Status Credits for every eligible Qantas flight[SUP]^[/SUP] booked and travelled during the promotional period. Interestingly, I've already got enough SCs to re-qualify for gold (anniversary end-September), but still need two squiggles, so can't really make the most of this offer. Still, might book trip to NZ in November to get started on next year's requalification.

Mine says:

So yes I'd say its for all QF flights booked by the 11th for travel by 3/12.

I just got the 50% extra SC offer...and it worked on this wood duck. Instead of booking EC to HKG, I booked PE to get the extra extra SC! DOH

My anniversary is 30 May 2016....

I am in a similar position. Sadly I can only take weekends off these days so I'm very limited.

Finally got a 50% bonus a few days ago, which was good timing as I had a work trip to book.

Unlike the old double status credits offers, these 50% bonus offers have to be booked within a week. I wonder if anyone has "saved up" the offer by creating and cancelling a booking, creating a voucher that could then be used to book some travel some time later, within the eligible travel period?

I am pretty sure the bonus does not apply in this case. I think it will be the voucher creation date that matters.

Book F to Europe! With 50% extra you get enough SC to requalify for WP! LOL.

I have used an existing gift voucher to make a booking with a double SC offer in the past. I successfully argued and won. The voucher creation date means nothing. The flight booking date was during the promotion period and they can see that.
