Has anyone received their 25000 kris flyer points for reaching the 4k spend on the card yet. Got my card in December and met spend but no points yet. I have my Gold status though.

I am in the same boat and curious when I will receive the 25000 KrisFlyer points too!

Mine appeared dated 27/1, applied in Nov/Dec too, hit the threshold early Dec (my deadline date for selecting an airline was 23/12).

This is a good point. I don't know how much they do share - I would assume that at least the Star Alliance Rewards portal is run/administered by HSBC or someone related to them, so they'd need that consent to be able to link/transfer points, but the status part I'm not sure. The T&Cs say that SQ simply won't process the upgrade if your status is equal to/higher than what you'd gain from the card, but that's not the case with other carriers (AC will extend your status, for example).

I met the required spend, got an email saying this:

Congratulations on achieving an important milestone with Star Alliance Rewards. You are now eligible for Star Alliance Gold Status.

You can now choose the Status Airline with which you wish to receive your status according to the terms of Star Alliance Rewards. You can change the Status Airline in your Star Alliance Rewards Account until (date of my next statement cycle), 23:59 AEDT. Subsequently, we will request the status from the Status Airline that is reflected in your account at that time.

I already selected SQ which is where I want my *A points to be transferred to.
No option of telling them I'm "already" Gold
I'll wait for the next statement cycle and check.
Currently no change to SQ status nor sign of any bonus KF miles.

Mine took a bit longer. Spend on 2 Jan. 25k + 5k KF points posted on 5 Mar. (My qualifying spend was on SQ tickets).
Still happy aa 30k is a bit of a slog to get through credit card spend.

No worries! I was complacent unfortunately, the 25k SQ were prompt, as were the Star Alliance points, but they insisted I take Gold (I tried arguing the vague T&Cs, but ultimately the points were awarded on the basis that I had SQ Gold, which I no longer did). Only plus is that while making my case I switched to AC, so got AC 50k status until 31/12/2027. Hopefully I can therefore accurately declare Gold next year!

I had actual SQ Gold when I last held this card, so didn't consider it being an issue. What was the duration between posting of the 40k Star Alliance points and the 25k SQ KF miles?

I accidentally thought that the 6-8 weeks is from the date of making eligible spend. But it's from the date you either receive *A Gold, or the 40k *A points in lieu of this.

What day did your Gold status come through? Was it in line with the email, which stated "You can change the Status Airline in your Star Alliance Rewards Account until ___"?
