Hahahahahaha!! ROTFL!!!! Clearly you have never been divorced!

Actually I have been divorced. And I know why it is so expensive, because it is worth it. ;)

Although to be fair to her she was very reasonable and it was as a easy divorce as you would hope to have.

Done our fair share of fights, the only time we didn't sit together was on a HKG/CNS return flight, me in J and Mrs Lime in Y because she said fare too much and she'd spend the rest in HKG, we sampled a few of the excellent CX HK lounges and later boarded, I had that sixth sense as I was stowing my laptop bag, looked over there she was bumped up to J with glowing smile and a wave, well I'll be.

Yes, they are. On every occasion.

Happened to me once out of LAX to MEL.

Booked flights on line in J, paid CASH, booked 2 seats together. Got on plane without checking tickets issued at counter ( my mistake not to check and I do now) found we were seated apart and a young chap was in my wif'es "booked online seat". Spoke to CSM who promptly sorted out the issue. The "interloper" turned out to be a qantas employee on staff travel and obviously has had his seat changed at check in and my wife was "bumped".

Not sure what happened behind the curtains but the captain just "popped in " to the cabin before take off to check everything was fine. Pretty good customer service !

Great service from the ON BOARD staff all the way back but who knows it might have been the check in ladies' brother on staff travel.

My theory with anything is, the first time is a lesson, the 2nd time is a mistake....I ALWAYS check the issued tickets now.

Good and fortunate outcome!
Me in J and Mrs Paddy in Why would always introduce more risk than needed... no matter how much she said she would prefer using the $$$ for extra shopping
