Hi all,

About two months ago, I received a letter from QFF to say thank you for being a member for 30 years, over which time I have earned and used a few million points. In recognition of my loyalty, they asked me to confirm my address details and then watch the mail for a special recognition gift.
Today, it arrived!
A commemorative boarding pass, printed on silver card (not metal as indicated in another thread). Must have cost Qantas at least 5 cents to produce.
Wow!

Let us know what you get when you reach 50 yrs of loyalty

Good on 'em. it's a simple token sure but I kind of find it a bit amusing that it would be something to complain about. Nothing's been "enhanced" or loss.. it's just a little bit of recognition.

And don't some of us at least like a bit of recognition? Sometimes I have great empathy for QF Loyalty, damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Just as a matter of interest, how many on AFF are 30 (or very close like me ) year veterans of the QFF program?
my 30th anniversary comes up in April 2018

I obviously don't get around enough threads @Steady - thanks for pointing out.

, my anniversary is 2/2019 so now at least I know what to expect

I agree that it is nice at least to have a momento - I was always taught it should be the thought that counts and to expect nothing - so at least getting a gift counts for something.

Thanks for posting @Barry.Gange
