Qantas now has 30% off the points required for Classic Flight Rewards on Jetstar-operated domestic flights in Australia. Book by 1 December, and travel between 1 February-31 August 2021.

This brings routes like SYD-MEL or SYD-BNE down to only 4,480 Qantas points + taxes. This includes 20kg of checked baggage.

But wait! There's more... This would also be flexible until 31 January:

Does the ticket reprice if you change the date after the promotion is over? ie. if I book a flight now under this promotion, would I lose the 30% discount if I try to change the date after 1st of December?

I think it would - just like a fare difference...

Thanks for the heads up on this Offer!

Not wanting a JQ red eye from the West, looked at the new Busselton JQ route and bonus, the inaugural flight is on the Monday, 1st Feb. Booked for only 10k points & $42.

Provided WA opens to Melbourne ( no risk with free classic reward cancellations until end of January ), this will allow us to spend Oz Day over in Melbourne ( Hopefully events back on by then ) before taking off on the first flight into Busselton and no doubt receiving a good welcome at the Airport.

Coach travel is easy back upto Perth so looks to be a great start to 2021 if everything goes well.
