Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here. The connection time between these two flights appears to be a prenenial q+a topic, however I've never seen such a short time scheduled to make a connection. I booked my flight, departing March 13 on an A380 in Y and originally there was 120 minutes time for the connection. Then, Qantas switched to a 747 and pushed back the departure time, resulting in the now scheduled 30 mins time to make the connection.
Given every other time I have flown QF 93 to LA (havent connected before) the plane has either been late to depart or has arrived at the same time as 4 other jets at LAX resulting in a long immigration line, can i expect to get ushered thru to QF 107 that is waiting for the connecting passengers from QF 93 or will I find myself wedged into some AA flght?
I'm only feeling slightly worried because I have a dinner appointment in NYC that evening and I don't want to be stuck somewhere over the midwest.
Any views, suggestions more than welcome. Thanks.
