Yes when I tried linking from MyGov I got the old faithful "An error has occurred" but going back to MyPost it said it was linked now?

I wonder if the points will ever show up.

I had the exact same issue - but the points still came through for me

Does anyone know if you're digital mailbox address must match your velocity address in order for points to credit?
The only way I can sign up to the service is to use a family members address as mine is not listed.

I guess AP recognises the demise of hard copy mail and is seeking to still be in the game with this facility.

Where do we go to chase up points that we should have got for this? AusPost don't show up as a partner to be able to do a retro claim on the velocity website...

I have raised a case on the Mypost website but after 2 weeks nothing to report.

Haha they don't recognise my address (Brand new house in new estate, but I've lived there 9 months and get mail there no dramas - including an Aus Post mail redirection service) so I can't sign up. Lodged a case with them online but suspect I won't hear back before the offer expires.

I successfully added Telstra on 29/10/15 and still have not received the 2000 bonus points. The T&C's stated that points would be credited within 10 business days. Ive just emailed Aust Post through digital mailbox to follow up.

ditto, I added myGov on 21/10 and then as backup, Telstra on 28/10, but no points at all. Have emailed both Australia post and also Velocity (given there's no drop down ability to make missing points claim on their website like other partners) a week ago, but no replies to date

I know it's points for practically no effort/spend on our behalf, but annoying that it seems to be harder and harder these days for promotions to be honoured. Doesnt instill much confidence in me about using their (Australia post) digital services in the future...

Shine on, dude.

I had problems with the first round of this promotion back in the day and was told by Virgin it was an AusPost problem. So got in touch with them, and eventually it got sorted.

I'm hoping to get this sorted too. I never get any points through to velocity from my AusPost account but my partner's come through within 24 hours without fail. How did you get it sorted? I've left an enquiry on the Aus Post site but it's been sitting there doing nothing for over a week now...

Called Aust Post this afternoon regarding no posting points or even a response to my enquiry and told that sending communications via Aust post portal does not go anywhere! Anyway the very helpful guy I spoke to said he has a lot of people calling up and apologised for a system that doesn't work. He has forwarded my correspondence to 'back office' to action and I can expect a call or at least an email by the end of the week. Not very confident anything will eventuate, but lets wait even longer and see...

That sucks for you. I got mine straight away so I wonder where the problem is.

Good luck chasing them up. As soon as I got the points I unlinked my accounts. I really dislike Auspost!

Finally got my points today after about 2 months! Better late than never I guess!

Wow how did you manage that?

I pushed a request at the support portal because I couldn't be bothered sitting on hold on the phone. Almost a month later (a couple of days ago) somebody replied asking for some details about digital mailbox and velocity so there does seem to be some glacial progress.

Same here. I had lodged an enquiry via the AusPost site a few weeks ago and received a phone call yesterday about it. Was told that it would be escalated to L2 support, but was also told that I was not eligible as the promotion was supposedly for new signups only. She said it mainly as a pre-warning and I would have been willing to debate it if it was denied.

However, just logged into Velocity site, and see that the 2000 points have been credited. So all good.

I didn't even bother chasing it up. I just assumed the points were never coming but they showed up eventually, much to my surprise. :)

Hmm, just logged into velocity based on reading above and would you believe it? Points in today.
