25K Asia Miles

My mate in AKL has 25K Asia Miles. Can she do anything with them at all, transfer them to something, (get a gift card or some such if they are otherwise useless)? She is short of money so would appreciate any suggestion.

akl-syd-cgk is 4774 according to gcm.

Alas AKL-SYD would be in the 1201-2500 band and round trip is 30K points.
OTOH buy her a AKL-SYD and use 20K for the return one way (24K premium Y)
