2026 travel plans.

Have you been to/ or considered Valencia @RooFlyer ?
We loved it, only 3 hours from Barcelona by train

I'm really only going to Barcelona area 5 days to see the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, Terragona and Montserat (plus other things in time around those) and to dash up to Andorra (I just looked at my spreadsheet - this may get axed). Now also devoting a day to going by train across to Cordoba and back. Lots of other things to see in the region, but ...

Then its driving in Scotland for 5 days to see the Tattoo, Holy Island, Loch Ness and to do part of the West Highland railway - again, filling in bits I haven't seen in previous visits.

Then Copenhagen for 2 days where I'll go up to see the castle at Elsinore (think of Hamlet) before joining a cruise to Greenland with a couple of other AFFers where we'll be doing morning and afternoon zodiac trips seeing little towns and hopefully polar bears and walruses. Then home. 🛏️💤

EDIT: This is 2025 travel!

If you have the means I would definitely stump up for one of the Premium packages. I was a bit skeptical at first but ended up really happy with the decision

Would have, but the time I realised that was going to be in Edinburgh at the same time as the tattoo (ie not planned) almost all the PPs had gone - and for a single seat they limit your options (ie can't book a single seat where there are 2 seats left together). I got a seat sort of at the angle between the Premiums and the side, but one with an aisle next to me, facing up the arena, so shouldn't have any head in front for the majority of the action. 🤞

Nothing booked for 2026 yet, but there will be at least three trips to Egypt on EK, a trip to Europe early in the year that will take in several countries, there is bound to be a few more trips to China to sort out products etc, and that will probably do - I'm getting a little travel weary at the moment after all of my recent flying.
