I find it interesting theres no talks about the status of Baku right now. Surely that race must also be up in the air given where Baku is at.

I guess the danger is that Ukraine just hit Iranian vessels in the Caspian sea and Iran has warned they might retaliate. If they do, missiles may potentially be overflying Azerbaijan towards the black sea.

Whilst not directly impacting Baku, I wonder if that would make things uninsurable.

Darn it - am actually in HKG for the Sepang race! But with a $700 non refundable hotel booking in HKG already, plus >$600 return flights .... and knowing we'd have to sit in the storm at sepang ....ehhhhhh ....

He really had nowhere to go. If he had stopped - his only other option - it would have caused a yellow flag.

No disrespect to GAS (as he deserves kudos for getting pole), but let’s see Alpine perform this well at other circuits before we draw too many conclusions about their relative improvements.
