Where to watch if no subscription?
I'm in Sydney Upper North shore, the Magpies Club at Waitara was suggested to me. There now, there are 3 F1 fans (inc. me). I'm "hydrating" and ready to go.

A bit late now but I fire up my Kayo subscription when AFL/F1 season starts up, and close it down when it's over

Good interesting race, pity about safety car, but generally watchable and I stayed awake. Bring on more Mario Cart racing. Much more interesting than the old follow the leader formats. Battles between Ferrari divers most appealing.

I watched the alternate commentary .... the one where - although British - they clearly are not allowed to only talk about Lando almost catching up from 7th or George or Sir Louie all thr time.
Far preferable to ‘BBC Croftie’

Battles between Ferrari divers most appealing.

I could watch an entire race consisting of nothing more than Lewis and Charles squabbling on track. Some of the most entertaining, hard-fought-but-fair wheel to wheel racing I've seen in a long time, especially between team mates!

Good on PIA, got done by the Safety car but at least he didnt sook about it like the Racing Emperor did.

Didnt notice him in the Merc celebration picture either....

Was spectating at the entry into Spoon corner, so saw the BEA crash - a pretty horrible one, and while I'm sure there'll be more investigating done, I feel like it was only a matter of time before a speed differential from harvesting/deploying caused a crash. Him hobbling out of the car was not good to see.

A benefit was that I didn't have to listen to Crofty and co try to 1. understand the batteries and 2. fail at making it sound interesting.

Regardless, no RUS podium which is a disgrace in that car, and turns out when PIA starts, he's actually pretty good.
