Does PIA give up his position to enable NOR to claim the championship?

In that precise situation, probably, but only on the last lap or two...

But say it's max 1, Oscar 2 and Lando 6.. then Oscar isn't going to help because in the event Max bins it, runs out of fuel or gets DQd post race then Oscar would have given away the championship.

After watching the whole race now, and subsequent interviews and commentary, seems clear McLaren bosses were paranoid they might disadvantage Lando by a double stack which led to the disaster for Oscar. Sad.

My thoughts exactly...arent 888 sooking today.
Funny thing is they will all be supporting FORD next year, while Chaz is in a Toyota?

It made no difference anyway as Feeneys car died, that wasnt Woods fault.
Was good to see Chaz win even though I dont really agree with the finals system but they are the rules.
Maybe F1 needs a finals system like Supercars and NASCAR..
