Nabbed a Luxury Escapes Gold Coast package to use sometime this year (haven’t booked dates yet). Self contained apartment will be good with Bub.

Well our travel plans for August this year.
We have pulled the plug on our cruise. We were initially booked on a cruise 1 year after the launch date but at present it is the inaugural cruise. We didn't want to risk it.
So now we are going driving around Wales for a week.Flying on F awards LHR-BOS-yes a little expensive in taxes etc-and adding 10 days driving in the US and Canada. Finally getting to see Sydney,NS.

We also have the outlines of our 2020 trips.
May-Chelsea Flower Show-London apartment booked.
October November-a Silver shadow cruise Athens to Venice with visits to Albania,Montenegro,Croatia and Serbia.A week in Spain and then on the new Silver Moon Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale.
Dates for securing our F awards already in the diary.

Wow my 2019 plans aren't nearly adventurous or prolific as many on this post, I'm very jealous of those who can devote so much time to seeing the world.

April - 8 days at Ningaloo Reef splitting time between Exmouth and Coral Bay - plan is to swim with the whale sharks on my birthday

June - 19 days - Singapore (3 nights) - London (7 nights) - New York (8 nights) - haven't spent any time in Singapore (not counting airport transits) since 2002 so long over due to eat my way around the city.

September - 4 days Port Douglas

I still need to decide where to spend the mandatory Christmas shutdown (26 Dec to 1 Jan), hopeful of a bargain, last Christmas was Perth.

Uluru/Yulara - three nights Feb (done)
Coolum - three nights Easter
Cairns - three nights early May
Christchurch (Arthur's Pass) - three nights late May
USA - four weeks from early July - San Francisco - Boston - NYC - Washington - Fallingwater and other things FLW - Chicago - SLCity - Yellowstone - San Fran with east to west via car and sleeper train
Darwin - long weekend in early October, possibly basing ourselves at Jabiru for two of the three nights

Very basic compared to the extravaganzas already posted!

Haven't started looking at the second half of the year yet

Darwin long weekend added

Do you need a spare wheel with the Whale Shark Trip? I’m so jealous!

I'm really excited too, Ningaloo Whale Sharks have been on my bucket list for ever, when i saw SYD-LEA return flights under $800 back in September, I just had to book, same flights now are $1,446!

Also just decided my xmas office shutdown plans:

Dec 26 - 31 - Hong Kong - as managed to nab classic reward PE seats for $380 return.

Any hope of having a quieter travel year has evaporated and I was doing so well competitive. Now I have to do 6 return OS trips to Europe, US and Asia within 2 months ☹️

Ningaloo Whale Sharks are still on my bucket list. Slowly making my way through it. Ticked off a few of the good ones in recent years: Gorillas in Rwanda, Maccu Piccu, Cuba

We have no plans at present - holding pattern to see what MrLtL may need in terms of treatment. Hopefully after next PSA test in May might have a clearer idea, and also positive FOBT result in the mix which hasn't helped. :(
Looking at a few short Australian trips and maybe I can swing Japan again.
I had a week in NZ with son about 3 weeks ago, so that's one trip I suppose.

Sigh.
Las Vegas & New York - cancelled
Croatia cruise & Dubrovnik -cancelled
San Francisco - cancelled
Retain WP - cancelled
Retain SG - cancelled
At least have LTS so can't fall further.
Too early to plan 2020 .

Gold Coast next week - VA J
London the week after - Etihad F
Maldives first week of May (Lux South Atoll - anyone been?) - SQ F
Thailand in October. Jetstar J - God help me!

That's about it for now although another London trip in October is one the cards swinging by Japan on the way home for some Rugby World Cup shenanigans (I shall raise this with my wife in the Maldives at a suitable moment!).

Mid January: Three day trip by car to Ballarat by car.
Late January: 14 night cruise to New Caledonia, Fiji & Vanuatu.
Late March: Five day trip to Caloundra for a 5Sqn RAAF reunion.
Late May: A few days in Sydney for Oz Fest.
June: Three weeks in Fiji.
Late October: To Barcelona via Edinburgh
Early November: 29 night cruise from Barcelona to LA via Spain, Morocco, Canary Islands, Azores, USA, Colombia, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico.
Early December: USA to Mexico.
Late December: Mexico to Australia.
Mrs straitman has snuck an extra one in and is currently in KL babysitting grandkids for about 12 days.
The October onwards trip has reached extremes and we now leave on 28th October and arrive back on 31st December.

Some plan revisions for 2019
- Freycinet is out and being replaced with a 5 night stint in Bali for a wedding we have been invited to; and
- Europe Christmas is out replaced by Asian Chistmas and New Year break (Singapore, Bangkok and Bali).

It's almost time to start the 2020 travel plans thread as I know many here will already have some underway.

We've also had to make revisions to our 3+ week Euro holiday this month. It was at serious risk of being cancelled, until I threw the last dice and asked QF to release a couple of F SYD-LHR seats. Boom! the seats released and re-ticketed. The trip is now just over a week and I get to surprise mrsamaroo with another birthday in Paris :)

If you haven't already take a good look at the BA Asia fares. Not sure about Bali, but they have very competitive pricing and it's a very economical way to build status if that has any interest. Almost countless stopovers throughout Asia....
