RBR and Merc should dominate the podium come Singapore. Renault probably will struggle with it's chassis on that track.

I know people defend BOT cos he's the #2 but he definitely had his chance at Monza and didn't take it. Those last few laps were hard to watch not only cos I wanted a LEC win but the lock ups with his better pace was real disappointing. Mercedes really couldn't have served it up any easier.

I watched the replay myself and wasn't aware of the final result, but even I could tell that Mercedes had got their tyre strategy wrong as soon as I saw their choice of tyres in the pit stops,, and Ferrari seemed to get LeClerc's tyre strategy right. Not taking anthing away from a good drive from LeClerc though, in my opinion some of the stewards calls were a bit 'peculiar'. We've seen a few pretty interesting races in a row now so not quite the Mercedes procession/cake walk that it appeared to be at the beginning of the season....

I think Singapore should suit Red Bull and Renault cars a bit more and maybe Mecredes and Ferrari wan't be so completely dominant?

Great to see RIC fighting hard. I guess a little too hard ultimately. Happy enough for Vettel, I imagine he will need to at least get another one however to truly lock his spot in.

I was at the race, we try every year to see a different part of the track so this year because of late decision to go we were in the Stamford grandstand, my 13 year old told me its turn seven? Probably the best spot so far, plenty of overtaking and action including Danny Ric overtaking a couple of times.

Noticeable that crowds were bigger than normal, I think announcing music line up much earlier meant people committed to tickets quicker because they knew who would be performing. Padang stage area was chockers every night.

Saw Danny Ric at a promo event at Plaza Singapura on the Saturday, big crowd and people lining up for 4 hours to get a chance to meet and greet

Well Ferrari keep finding new and improved ways to shoot themselves in the foot.

Probably. I have to feel for LEC; he does seem to get the rough end of the stick.

After the car broke and he was told to stop, VET pulled the car up with the rear to the escape road so the marshalls could just pull it backwards, but they then deployed the VSC instead of letting them out an pull it backwards (fair enough for marshall safety).

It looked like however he could have driven it straight in (ie. turned right instead of left when he pulled off the track and the marshalls wouldn’t have had to go onto the track to remove it) and Ferrari may have had a different outcome.

LEC should know (as must do pretty much anyone who saw VET whilst at RBR with Webber......) that anyone who agrees to something with VET pre-race is likely to find that agreement worthless come race day if it suits VET......

Safety Car about now would be good for Dan although probably more advantages Max.

Not Dan's best overtaking attempt on Perez
