Another yet another DNF surely RIC has to be looking at what other teams could offer him better next year.....

But where would he go? Mercedes have resigned both drivers, leaving just Ferrari as the only other competitive team with a possible seat.
This was rumoured to be Lecrec ‘s but Martin Brundle thinks with the weekends sudden replacement of Sergio Marchionne the Fiat boss (owners of Ferrari) with Louis Camilleri, means he may play safe and resign Raikkonen.

Convenient that HAM got no penalty for the pit lane entry/exit. Others have had major penalties for that (and similar eg. pit exit) in the past.

Pretty cough finish in the end, shame VET went out of the race. Oh well, the championship goes on.....

I lost sound on my streaming service just after RIC went out. Oh well, there is always the highlights package tonight on One.

I don't really follow F1 but heard about Vettels exit and all I could think of at the time was "Som nam naa!".

Sadly Sergio Marchionne, the Ferrari boss has now died from complications following shoulder surgery. He was 66.

Not a good qualifying session for RIC, let's see if it the rains hangs around today and makes the race interesting.

Watching the F2 race now and it’s 30’ and sunny, expecting 33’ C for the F1 race. Very different conditions to yesterday’s qualifying so I’d expect a few performance differences during the race.

Indeed, had a look after I posted and looks like warm weather today. Will they have to start on the wets/inters or can they swap under current rules to soft/ultrasoft tyres?

Condolences to Sergio Marchionne, his family and Ferrari.
In saying that, hoping for some rain and RIC fly through the pack.

My understanding is they aren't locked into any tire, as the tires they qualified on in Q2 were wet/inters. Only if their best time in Q2 is on slicks, confirms them into the race on that compound.
