I wonder how many of us have Rockfords on the bottom shelf?

:)

Most who followed the Titanic tour of the Barosa thread (and have the Vintec/Rockfords) I suspect ;)

edit, was it Boomy who mentioned this in that thread :?::?:

Just received:

'Dear xx_X

Thank you for participating in our Vintec promotion. We hope that you are enjoying the wonderful wines that you purchased.
We are writing to provide an update on the delivery timings for your 120 bottle Vintec wine cellar following a very high volume of orders. These cellars are being specifically made to order in Denmark, and then shipped to Australia. We are working closely with Vintec to ensure everything feasible is done to deliver the cellars to Australia as quickly as possible.
We are confident that your order will be delivered within the 16 week time frame highlighted in the terms and conditions. Your order is approved and in our system, and we will contact you as soon as your cellar is ready for delivery. Please be advised no further action is required from you.
We thank you for participating in the Choose Your Cellar Vintec promotion and for your patience while awaiting delivery.'

Any update so far? I didn't receive email from them. Submitted my claim on 11/8 and still waiting and hope will get soon (especially the hot weather is approaching!)

Time to call I think, especially if you didn't get the email.

As I was travelling :) I missed the offer this year.

Would love to hear if anyone now doesn't need their 120 bottle Vintec... seriously .

Called them up this morning and was told it will take full 16 weeks for delivery for the big one. however i believe someone who submitted earlier will potentially get it lesser than 16 weeks.

My 16 weeks is up on the 30th October - so not much longer to wait. The wording on my confirmation email says "Allow approx. 16 weeks for delivery." so while sooner would be preferred - I am sure it will take as long as it takes.....

It must be over 16 weeks now - have you got a big one.....

Nope, not even a little one :(

I do have an absolute mess on the floor though. Around 100 bottles just laying around the place waiting for the new home to arrive. I almost stepped on one over the weekend when trying to get something out from behind....and it was a bottle of 1998 vintage Krug, so I would not have been pleased!

That's a pretty poor show :(

Have they at least kept you updated on when you can expect it?

My 16 weeks have passed and still no notifications from them. Tried to call them but only answering machine available which asked to email them with delivery queries. Emailed them 5 days ago but no reply. Anyone heard from Vintec?

Mine will be 17 weeks tomorrow - I sent of an email today after your post reminded me.
