Unfortunate that VA doesn't award the SC's, though at least be still have QF MASA... for the moment.

I'd agree that your previous bookings earned SC's as the bookings were probably made prior to the limited offer expiring.

I'm just about to sign up for my Centurion Emirates Gold... has anyone heard if Amex will have Emirates become a transfer partner for miles?
 
It's pity that no one offers SC on redemptions anymore on domestics. MP Diamond continue to impress with recent bookings on two J for my parents at their peak season - no award ticket available, but they got them for me. I wish that all companies are like CX that they treat you the same regardless on how you get your status. Recent HH distinguish "real diamond" was a bit of disappointment and I think Amex marketing should take note. However, I must say IHG has been very good at recognising the platinum status.

On another note, Emirates Gold email has arrived, but no offer for headphones or charger.
 
Update: Got the Gold email today (previous emails was just skyward members), and there is a choice of gifts. Looks like I can enrol Mrs Sparoz too, that basically means now there's two Qantas Club membership effectively.

I got the email too, I went for the headphones as the charger stops at iPhone 4 but I don't really need either. Who cares though its free I'm sure I can find someone who wants it
 
Thanks Centurion - bottle of 2008 Parker Cab Sav arrived today.

My first 'gift' smashed in delivery - Cent RM readily arranged replacement - Cruiserette out tonight so might just sit in front of TV and dispose of said red.

Card arrived after a few weeks. headphones about a month after that. You're not missing much, though. I guess the box is pretty, but it went in the bin. I'll use the phones as a standby.
 
Has anyone taken up the Ferrari 458 Spider "private experience"?

I'm sure it's just some marketing exercise, but if it's a track day, or a car for a few hours might follow it up. I'm not interested in buying a Ferrari in Australia thats for sure, besides I prefer my sports cars to come from Stuttgart ;)

I think it's just a marketing ploy to lure members into a yet drive !

No I got the red envelope which impressed my 11y old son but I don't think I'll bother.

I did get an upgrade to the Trump floor at the Trump Waikiki which was nice though.
