The OH and myself have taken a Virgin holiday package which includes entry to the Carbine Marquee at this years Melbourne Cup.

Are any other AFF members going to the Cup ?

I am a VRC member. Based here in Sydney but still maintain my membership. I will be at Oaks and Stakes days.
Unfortunately being a frequent flyer this year I miss out on Derby & cup due to a work trip.
I actually land in Melbourne Oaks day morning on QF30 from HKG after two weeks working in China.
Mrs Batesy will be at all 4 days of the carnival.

Will be there for the Melbourne Cup. First time I've managed to be in Melbourne on the actual day, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Went to the Cox Plate yesterday too - not a bad day (though I did horribly with my bets ). Rain stayed away (mostly) too.
