Though what is their unit energy cost?

I recently just switched and found (I am in SE Melbourne) that Tango ( PacificHydro ) for electricity and Momentum for gas was the cheapest combination for my circumstances.

Both gave only $50 on sign on, but their energy costs were significantly cheaper/ unit of energy than the others even after you took off their "headline" % discounts.

% discounts seem to be the modern marketing ploy as many businesses (not just energy) scream what their discount is, but it is the end $ cost that matters.
