Five months later and I have not received the 10,000 points. I signed up to the VIP Club in September 2025. Over the last four months, I've sent customer support two emails and have had no response to any of them. I'm sending a third email now and escalating the tone and assertiveness.

We'll see what happens.

So I sent my email a week ago. Absolutely no response from customer service, despite getting an email confirmation, a ticket had been created. Cancelled my subscription today.

And boy oh boy, was cancelling difficult. Trying to find the cancel button, which was a tiny link at the bottom of the page, redirects you to pause your subscription or to change your VIP plan. That stuff should be illegal.

Absolutely appalling customer service. I would never sign up for this organisation again.

Odd that it was so easy for me to cancel as is ready or was easy from another poster up thread.
Must be a different website, cancel area or something.

Actually, I think I saw something in the news recently that the government is bringing in new laws to combat these subscription traps. They will be targeting companies that make it really hard for you to unsubscribe.

Anyway, I spent $300 across six months and didn't get a single Velocity point for it. Obviously, I got the lottery tickets.

But what's the recourse in a situation like this? I signed up with the promise of points, and I got nothing, and no one at customer service responds. Is this a situation where I could lodge a complaint with the ACCC?

No idea, but I'd definitely follow it up.
