Actually, I think I saw something in the news recently that the government is bringing in new laws to combat these subscription traps. They will be targeting companies that make it really hard for you to unsubscribe.
Anyway, I spent $300 across six months and didn't get a single Velocity point for it. Obviously, I got the lottery tickets.
But what's the recourse in a situation like this? I signed up with the promise of points, and I got nothing, and no one at customer service responds. Is this a situation where I could lodge a complaint with the ACCC?
